I'm Celenia Arroyo. I'm from the suburbs, St. Charles
Illinois to be exact. I was born in Chicago and lived there for 3 years then
moved to Cicero and then to St. Charles when I was 11. I have a little brother,
two older sisters and an older brothers and a little niece. I have a dog names
Coketa (it’s Spanish for flirt.) My interest would be the general hanging out
with friends and just listening to music and going to concerts. I have a tad
bit of an obsession with Hockey. Of course I have to root for the home team so
the Blackhawks have to be my number one. My favorite bands would have to be The Maine, A
Rocket To The Moon, Brighten and Speak. I actually want to get a tattoo of Brightens
lyrics “In All This Chaos We Found Safety.” I chose to come to Columbia because
I love the location of the school and also because Columbia has a lot to offer.
Right now my major is music business but I’m thinking of changing it to Sports marketing
or just marketing and communications in general. For Media I would like to say
Text since I’m not amazing at photography or dance or anything like that. I
guess text would work too. What I hope to gain from this course is just some
new writing skills, or a different way of expressing my writing. And as for
fears of this class, I don’t think I have any yet.
